Can You Eat Nuts on the Whole 30?

You can eat most nuts while on the Whole 30. However, certain nuts are better than others and some aren’t allowed.

Peanuts are not allowed because they are actually not nuts. In reality, peanuts are legumes and are treated by your body as such. Peanut butter of course will affect your body in the same way peanuts would – except most peanut butter is even worse because it contains weird oils most of the time.
The Best Nuts to Eat on Whole 30
Hazelnuts and macadamia nuts are the best nuts to eat. They have lower levels of polyunsaturated fats, which can lead to inflammation and an excess of Omega-6 fats.
Most other nuts are ok but should be limited.
