Crossfit Fran

The Crossfit Fran workout is so much more brutal than I imagined. I seriously thought that I’d for sure be able to finish it in less than 5 minutes. I was very wrong. My time was 6:17. Being the competitive freak that I am, I’m now obsessed with doing Fran in less than 4 minutes.
Fran is a combination of ‘thrusters’ (a thruster is a full front squat where you extend the weight overhead at the top) and pullups in three rounds, for time. Round 1 is 21 thrusters with 95 pounds (65 for women) and 21 pullups. Round 2 is 15 thrusters and 15 pullups. Round 3 is 9 thrusters and 9 pullups.
Next time I’m getting 3:59.
