Hose Drags, Deadlifts, Ball Slams
by Court under Journal
Today at the gym we did a pretty good partner workout. Only one person worked at a time. You had to tag your partner when you were finished and then he would complete a round and tag you back. For each round, you completed:
- 1 fire hose drag across the gym
- 5 deadlifts @185 pounds (135 for the ladies)
- 10 ball slams with a 20 pound medicine ball
I felt dang good during the whole workout. The deadlifts were super light for me. I’d say that the hardest part of the workout was the ball slams but that’s probably because they were last.
My partner and I made 24 rounds.
My body seems to respond really well when I can get some rest in between rounds. Steady work workouts are a lot harder.
