Whole 30 Journal for May 31, 2012 (Day 18)

Today was a good eating day – very much under control. I stuck to two servings of fruit, even though one of them was post-workout. Today was one of my best days of sticking to the plan, without eating extra of something. That said, it hasn’t really been a big deal when I’ve eaten extra fruits and/or fats. Goes to show how well it works out when you ditch grains and sugars.
9:00 a.m.
3 whole medium sized eggs
8 oz. chicken breast
1 tsp. clarified butter
3 brazil nuts
32 oz. water
1:00 p.m.
1 mexican taco salad:
- 1 large plate of spinach
- 8 oz. ground turkey with taco spices
- 1/2 cup black olives
1 large handful of snap peas (I ate them while making the salad)
16 oz. water
3:45 p.m.
4 capsules fish oil (1200 mg each)
16 oz. water
6:15 p.m.
Post workout:
1 banana
16 oz. water
7:00 p.m.
1.5 chicken breasts
1 plate green beans/snap peas
16 oz. water
11:00 p.m.
8 oz. baked salmon
1/2 medium grapefruit
1 handful snap peas
3 brazil nuts
16 oz. water
